Senior Manager – Corporate | Jersey

Want to break away from a large Corporate firm and join an independently owned team where your judgment is trusted?

Are you a Senior Manager who’s ready to work alongside a group of Directors with autonomy and visibility?

Want a wide variety of interesting, tangible clients and a flexible, pragmatic approach to your working schedule?

Our client, an independent fiduciary business in Jersey, is looking for a seasoned operator to take the reins as Senior Manager.

You’ll join a senior team with legal and accountancy backgrounds, offering support and guidance. You’ll be central to a portfolio of cornerstone clients – overseeing all client deliverables (including an international support function), attending meetings, reviewing minutes, and leading on periodic reviews.

When transactions arise, they’re genuinely interesting – spanning intermediate holdcos, natural resources, and non-institutional clients you wouldn’t typically get exposure to at bigger firms. There’s scope to shape the role around your strengths!

You’ll need to:

  • Take ownership without relying on a big in-house support system.
  • Be present and visible, especially for the Jersey office team, this is paired with flexibility – reduced hours can work, and there’s a happy balance to be struck.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships across trust, corporate, and fund portfolios.
  • Approve payments, onboard clients, oversee periodic reviews.
  • Liaise with lawyers, auditors, banks, and other intermediaries.
  • Lead the billing process, monitor fees vs. budgets, and manage debtors.
  • Supervise and mentor administrators in Jersey and their outsourced location .
  • Act as a signatory and, where required, director on client entities.
  • Contribute to broader business development, compliance, and operational projects.

Why Join Our Client?

  • Strong track record with regulators and client retention.
  • Flat structure where senior people stay hands-on.
  • Rare balance of challenging work and quality-of-life flexibility.
  • The chance to shape your own path – no bureaucratic glass ceiling.

If you’re a seasoned trust / corporate services professional ready to step up, take ownership, and get things done properly, this is the kind of role that will reward you for doing exactly that.
