Our client is a private investment group with a reputation for backing innovative ventures across PE, VC, Technology and more. They are now looking for a bright, curious and adaptable Senior Financial Accountant to join their Group Finance function in Jersey.

The Role
Reporting to the Jersey Financial Controller, you’ll become a key part of a lean but high-impact team. Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Lead the financial accounting for various group and affiliated entities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and support the close process
- Assist with budgeting, reforecasting and insightful analysis
- Contribute to audit planning and financial reporting under multiple accounting standards
- Support the finance transformation programme, identifying ways to improve processes and leverage technology
- Liaise across jurisdictions including Ireland, US, UK and other European jurisdictions
The Ideal Candidate
This role isn’t about ticking boxes. Instead, our client is seeking someone with the right mindset:
- Recently qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 0- 5 years’ PQE
- Experience in audit, fund services or internal finance
- Eager to develop skills beyond the typical month-end grind
- Adaptable and self-motivated with a natural curiosity
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, non-hierarchical environment
- A strong communicator who enjoys collaboration
Why Join?
- Work closely with senior leaders: You’ll support the Jersey FC directly, gaining exceptional exposure
- Be more than a cog: Your role matters and spans accounting, operations and transformation
- Long-term opportunity: This firm has a strong track record of developing candidates!
- Results-driven culture: It’s about maturity and accountability, not clocking in and out
- Dynamic and varied work: No two weeks are the same, with opportunities to get involved across finance and operations
Whether you’re moving out of practice or stepping up from an internal role, this is a unique opportunity to join a world-class team and truly grow your finance career.
