Senior Administrator – In-House Private Equity – Jersey

  • Are you looking to step away from timesheets and external client servicing into a genuinely in-house role within a globally recognised investment business?

  • Do you enjoy the technical and governance side of fund and corporate administration, but want broader exposure, stronger systems, and the opportunity to add real operational value?

  • Are you the type of person who naturally improves processes, embraces technology and AI tools, and wants to work in an environment where those ideas are actively encouraged?

Our client is a leading global private equity investment manager seeking a Senior Administrator to join its team in Jersey.

This is a rare opportunity to join an intelligent, highly visible operational function supporting key internal relationships.

Unlike a traditional CSP or fund administration environment, this is a fully in-house role supporting internal stakeholders within the investment business itself.

The Role

The successful individual will join a collaborative, forward-thinking team led by an experienced operational leader who is actively focused on process improvement, automation and the use of technology and AI to enhance the function. The business has already embedded AI tools internally and encourages teams to use them proactively to improve workflows and efficiency.

The role offers broad exposure across multiple funds and structures rather than being siloed into a single client or portfolio. It also provides the opportunity to mentor and support a junior member of the team locally in Jersey whilst developing towards longer-term progression internally.

  • Administration of critical internal structures
  • Company secretarial and corporate governance responsibilities
  • Coordination of transactions, notices, distributions and related documentation
  • Maintenance of statutory records and entity documentation
  • Liaison with investment professionals, legal advisers, auditors and counterparties
  • Supporting process improvement, operational efficiencies and automation initiatives
  • Assisting with board processes, approvals and governance workflows
  • Supporting and mentoring a junior administrator within the team

About You

The ideal candidate is likely to have between 4-7 years’ experience gained within fund administration, corporate governance, private wealth administration, incentives administration or a related financial services environment.

Candidates may come from a CSP, private equity administrator, private wealth business or similar platform, but should demonstrate strong organisational capability, attention to detail and confidence handling technical documentation and operational processes.

This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys improving systems and processes, values quality over volume, and wants to operate within a sophisticated investment business where operational teams are viewed as genuine value-add partners rather than simply service providers.

The position offers:

  • Exposure to a globally recognised investment platform
  • Highly competitive compensation and bonus potential
  • Strong benefits package
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • Direct exposure to investment professionals and senior stakeholders
  • A collaborative, founder-led culture
  • Long-term career progression within a growing function
  • A modern environment actively embracing technology and AI
