Investment Controller or Junior Investment Controller

Salary dependent on experience, Full or Part Time considered

OFC Partners are proud to be representing a significant Family Office which is looking to develop its substance on island with an exceptional new role for an Investment Controller to work autonomously in Jersey with internationally based Senior Management. We are looking for a bright professional with a background in Accounting, Trading / Investments or Cosec / Administration who wants to pivot into a challenging and exciting new role.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Execute trades ordered by Senior Management as signed off by the Investment Committee
• Providing assistance and support to the team with day-to-day operations spanning:
  • Business Development / Marketing
  • Ad hoc research / analytical projects for the board in relation to investments / other
  • Reconciling financial management entries
  • Ensuring compliance regulatory procedures are met
  • Preparing company minutes
  • Assisting with billing and preparation of invoices and processing payments
• Actively liaising with service providers, clients, government departments, banks and other financial institutions as required
• Liaising with local and offshore jurisdictions’ regulatory authorities, to include filing of special resolutions and updating registers.
• Preparing and submitting subscription documents for Fund investments

Experience and skills required:

• Previous financial services experience (likely either middle office investments, junior execution trading or accounting / Cosec / auditing within Funds or Trust)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Committed to delivering a quality service
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Entitled or Entitled to Work in Jersey
