Investment Analyst – Single Family Office – Jersey

Direct Relationship with Principal | Traditional and Venture Investments

Are you an Accountant, Finance Analyst or Investment Analyst who thrives in a high-accountability environment with sharp, engaged principals?

Would you like to turn a complex portfolio of assets into clear insights and be integral to performance discussions with an UHNW family office?

Would you value a role where you’re front and centre on investment calls, helping steer decision-making across a diverse portfolio?

This is a rare opportunity to join a significant Single Family Office, working directly with the principal and their investment ecosystem.

The Opportunity

This is not a back-office role.

You’ll be the primary point of contact for the family on all investment matters. That includes managing monthly reporting and valuations, coordinating with external investment managers, and supporting discussions around portfolio rebalancing, performance, and new ideas.

The portfolio is diverse, with exposure to hedge funds, private equity, traditional funds, and venture capital investing. Real estate features but is not a core focus for this role.

You’ll also be involved in tech-enabled reporting, working with an external partner to gradually reduce spreadsheet dependency. For now, you’ll ensure reports are accurate, numbers make sense, and conversations with the principal are well informed and well structured.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning monthly valuation and performance reporting across all investment classes
  • Regularly interfacing with the principal to discuss portfolio performance and new opportunities
  • Supporting due diligence, financial modelling, and analysis for new investments including early-stage venture
  • Overseeing allocations, cashflow forecasting, and ensuring clarity on total exposure and liquidity
  • Liaising with external advisors, investment managers, and administrators to ensure timely and accurate data
  • Collaborating with a tech team to transition complex spreadsheet reports into a structured platform
  • Playing a key role in keeping performance conversations open, informed, and aligned with the family’s goals

What You’ll Need

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA Level 2 and above). Non-accountants potentially considered if they can show relevant skills.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in investment analysis, fund reporting, or private client advisory
  • Strong modelling and analytical skills with an excellent eye for detail
  • Confidence to communicate directly with principals and external stakeholders
  • Experience with traditional investment classes is essential
  • A calm, professional presence with the ability to read the room and tailor communication accordingly
