OFC Partners are pleased to be working with a Jersey PE house who have an excellent reputation both internationally and locally. This business offers a qualified accountant the chance to move to an established yet early stage in-house environment.
This unique opportunity will see you working in a small team of friendly accountants and administrators based in Jersey whilst giving you exposure to senior international stakeholders and genuinely interesting work whilst overseeing the output of the outsourced service provider.
Responsibilities:
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Overseeing the activities of the outsourced providers in connection to the funds
- Preparation of some elements and review of investor reporting
- Calculation reporting based on individual deal team valuations
- Investor communication with queries including quantitative and qualitative responses, along with ESG related queries
- Monitoring and updating the data platform for portfolio companies covering automated portfolio company reporting, valuations, fund track record etc.
- Reviewing schedules prepared by our administrators including calls and distributions calculations, management fee calculations, carried interest calculations
- Reviewing financial statements prepared by administrators
- Monitoring LPA and side letter restrictions
- Monitoring fund capacity and preparing cash management analysis based on deal pipeline
- Preparing the new investment checklist for new deals
- Responding to requests in connection to new and potential deals
- Monitoring NAV/Bridge facility covenant compliance
- Liaising with auditors for the fund audits
In addition to your core role you will have the opportunity to be involved in special projects, examples of the sort of work which has been done by others in this role has included. Please note that these are not necessarily things you will definitely do but an example of some super interesting non-core projects the team has done:
- Negotiations with multiple lenders for raising a Fund bridge facility
- Liaising with the placement agents to assist with fund raising requests
- Mapping of process flows and implementation of automation
- Project to provide various software automation tools
- Developing ESG covenants for an ESG linked facility
You:
This position requires a newly or recently qualified professional (ICAS/ACCA/ICAEW/ other) with 0- 18 months post qualification experience; we can consider those from Big 4, smaller accountancy practices or Fund Accounting – so long as you can demonstrate a willingness to get stuck in, ambition and a problem solving mentality.
