Your role will be broad in scope and will include but not be limited to:

Portfolio Monitoring – Work to ensure cash positions of the funds are monitored and future cash flows are forecast including correspondence with the Investment teams. Manage the processing of distributions to investors and expenses for the funds. Hands-on and pro-active approach to corporate actions for the holding company.

Fund valuations –Review regular valuations prepared by third party fund administrators whilst being responsible for critical internal management reporting. In addition to Fund Administrators, you will also liaise with Auditors to ensure that Investors receive critical financial information.

Trading Operations – Handling the trading process with third-party OMS and managing broker communications. The role will also work alongside the Head of Trading operations on special projects.

Ad-hoc projects – The role provides room for forward thinking and flexibility to improve upon existing processes and routines. It also requires project leadership along the way. Ad-hoc projects for CFO, Investment/Investor Relations/Compliance teams.

You:

This position requires a professional with either a Hedge of Private Equity Operations background, or qualified accountant with experience in Fund Accounting / Asset Management advisory; we can consider those from Big 4, Fund Administration houses or in-house funds– so long as you can demonstrate a willingness to get stuck in, an interest in the financial markets, accuracy, ambition and a problem solving mentality.
