OFC Partners are pleased to be working with the Private Wealth arm of a significant HEdge Fund who’s AUM has grown significantly in recent years, leading to the need to strengthen its team.
Your role will be broad in scope and will include but not be limited to:
- Oversight and accounting of the funds’ underlying investments:
- Tracking economics of debt & equity investments by deal
- Calculation of interest accrued on debt investments
- Allocation of investment inflows between capital, interest, gains as applicable
- Oversight and accounting of investor & carry economics:
- Correct allocation of investor contributions into the funds (debt/equity split)
- Calculation of distribution waterfall on the receipt of investment proceeds. Coordinate the execution of distributions to investors as well as any carry due to the investment manager.
- Oversight and accounting of external fund management entity:
- Correct allocation of investor entities into the funds
- Calculation of management fee, coordinating the payment thereof
- Liaison with payroll & accounts payable teams on the operating costs of the business
- Monthly management accounts, reconciliations, preparation of management information as required.
- Liaising with the Corporate tax team for the preparation of quarterly tax estimates and year-end tax returns
- Preparation of year-end financial statements and management of the audit process
Involvement in the wider responsibilities of the Private Wealth team, which include but are not limited to:
- Portfolio accounting & financial reporting
- Production of investor reporting
- Production of regular & ad hoc management information
- Execution of portfolio transactions
- Liquidity management
You:
This position requires an exceptional Fund Accounting professional who is ready to make the move into a high quality in-house role, you will likely have 2-5 years PQE but newly/recently qualified would be considered.
