Our client, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund experiencing rapid global growth, is establishing a new office in Jersey. This is not a box-ticking role; it’s a genuine chance to create substance from day one, helping to shape the finance presence of a world-class investment manager as they expand onto the island. The business is seeking an experienced finance leader from a similar environment (15+ years PQE) who can combine technical depth with commercial instinct. The remit spans corporate and fund finance, group reporting, FP&A and treasury; with direct board involvement and high visibility to global leadership. Uniquely for such a role; they are open to either Full or Part time for the right candidate (3 days per week or full time), making this an attractive option for a senior professional looking for meaningful and stimulating work.
What you’ll do:
- Lead group-level consolidated reporting across a complex, multi-jurisdictional structure.
- Own FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Provide oversight of treasury assets and investments, with direct involvement in fund accounting for treasuries, CLOs, structured notes and internal funds.
- Act as a Jersey board director, ensuring governance and regulatory compliance.
- Manage external service providers while retaining accountability for reporting quality.
- Partner closely with the Group CFO on structuring, capital allocation and treasury strategy.
What you’ll bring:
- ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post qualification experience in a Hedge Fund. Private Equity house or similar.
- Track record across consolidations, fund accounting, FP&A and complex structures.
- Background in hedge funds, private equity or investment management.
- Confidence to operate with autonomy and presence at board level.
