We are delighted to be working with a highly respected international funds services business, for which Jersey plays a pivotal role in decision making, who are looking to strengthen their team with a new Client Compliance Lead.
In this role, you’ll lead and develop a team of Compliance Services professionals, serving as MLRO, MLCO, and CO for client structures. You’ll ensure high standards of compliance, liaise with external parties, and support effective risk management for client entities. • Spearhead the leadership, management, and professional growth of a team comprising Compliance Services experts who directly engage with clients.
• Formulate and champion the establishment of a client-focused compliance strategy to include crafting tools, policies, procedures, and processes to ensure comprehensive compliance.
• Assume the crucial roles of Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO), and Compliance Officer (CO) for client structures, executing these responsibilities to a high standard. Additionally, maintain effective communication with relevant external parties as necessary.
• Develop and execute a robust monitoring program for client structures, systematically report findings to appropriate channels, and contribute to risk management efforts within the organization.
• Address training needs within the company and among clients, collaborating with other business units to deliver relevant training sessions.
• Identify innovative solutions and contribute to the development and refinement of an operational model for client compliance services. This model aims to optimize people, processes, and platforms to deliver exceptional client service and appropriately delegate duties within the team.

You

The successful candidate will be an experienced Compliance professional who has a proven track record acting as Key Person (MLCO/MLRO/CO) either in-house within a Funds business or for a Fund Services Business. You’ll have a strong interest in people management and the ability to interact with stakeholders from all levels.
