Our client, a globally expanding technology firm with a strong acquisition pipeline, is seeking an outstanding financial leader to take full ownership of financial reporting, treasury and financial operations, ensuring the function runs seamlessly.

This is not a passive record-keeping role. You will be a key player in driving efficiency, ensuring financial integrity, and providing the insights needed for high-impact business decisions.

The Role

Stepping into this role means becoming the backbone of financial reporting, control and operations. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Full oversight of financial operations, running a multi-jurisdictional team responsible for Financial Reporting, AP, AR, Treasury, and Finance Systems.
• Leading finance integrations of newly acquired companies, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Managing and optimising finance systems, including SAP, Alteryx and more
• Providing financial leadership to a 25-strong finance team (with several managers underneath), ensuring stability and operational excellence.
• Multi-jurisdictional exposure across eight global locations, handling complex regulatory landscapes.
• Driving business impact, supporting R&D, and delivering meaningful insights through management packs for ExCo and leadership teams.

This role is not about reinventing the wheel for the sake of it—we’re looking for someone who can quickly get to grips with operations, ensure stability, and run things exceptionally well whilst ensuring the function is future proofed through the use of innovative technology!

This role suits a highly capable finance professional who is:

• A strong operator – understands how financial functions should work and can ensure smooth execution both now and in the future.
• Experienced in “managing managers” – a leader who has experience of managing multiple teams, ideally in multiple jurisdictions, at one time.
• Process-driven – knows how to build and refine systems without unnecessary disruption.
• Multi-jurisdictionally experienced – comfortable navigating different regulatory environments.
• Smart, hungry, and fast-moving – able to get a handle on things quickly while remaining agile to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• A great accountant – technically strong but also commercially savvy.
• Humble yet impactful – a confident operator who’s as happy on high level projects as working in the weeds to ensure the “small stuff” is done right!
