We’re supporting a exciting US technology company as they continue to scale their financial operations and strengthen reporting capability post-listing at their Jersey HQ. This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ accountant who wants genuine ownership, breadth and visibility; not just a seat in a large team.
The Role
Working closely with the Head of Finance and CFO, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day financial operations across a multi-entity structure while contributing to statutory reporting, regulatory submissions and the month-end / management accounting cycle. Alongside this, you’ll support budgeting, forecasting and analysis as the business continues its expansion.
This role suits someone who is technically strong, proactive and happy to combine foundational accounting work with improving processes and contributing analytical insight.
What You’ll Do
Financial Reporting
- Prepare regulatory filings and support US, UK and CI compliance
- Liaise with auditors and support audit preparation
- Strengthen reporting frameworks and controls for a listed environment
Financial Accounting
- Prepare journals, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Support monthly management accounts and group consolidation
- Maintain & book-keep accurate ledgers across multiple entities
- Produce statutory financial statements
Cashflow, Treasury & Operations
- Bank reconciliations, liquidity monitoring (GBP & USD)
- Support cashflow forecasting and payment scheduling
- Assist with payroll journals and AP processing
FP&A & Analysis
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting
- Support development of financial models
- Assist with management information and KPI reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Newly qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Background in audit, fund accounting or financial accounting
- Strong analytical skills and appetite to improve processes
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, scaling environment
