Finance Director – Disruptive Tech Firm – London or Jersey

Are you ready to bring financial discipline to a high-growth, international scale-up?

Can you deliver accurate forecasting, tight cash management, and strong financial systems that match rapid expansion?

Can you lead a small international team and work with the Senior Leadership team to scope out, hire and deliver critical hires when necessary?

Do you have the experience to oversee multi-jurisdictional reporting while still being hands-on with the numbers?

This is a priority hire – candidates with shorter notice periods will be at an advantage, though those on up to three months’ notice will be considered.

The Business

Our client is a disruptive technology-enabled services firm that has scaled rapidly to more than 100 people with operations across four international jurisdictions. Growth is accelerating, with new product lines and international expansion already underway.

The culture is ambitious, and entrepreneurial. The leadership team need a Finance Director who can provide structure, control and visibility while enabling the business to keep moving fast.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for all financial operations across four markets, ensuring accuracy, discipline and commercial insight.

  • Forecasting discipline – deliver weekly trading figures that reconcile tightly with actuals.
  • Cash flow – maintain strong oversight of billing, collections and payments.
  • Systems & controls – move finance out of spreadsheets and into digitised platforms; clear up legacy processes.
  • Multi-jurisdictional oversight – coordinate outsourced local providers into a consolidated group view.
  • Hands-on delivery – run P&Ls, forecasts and balance sheets yourself; this is not a float-above role.
  • Commercial partnership – challenge forecasts, hold leaders accountable, and provide insight that drives decision-making.

The Person

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years PQE.
  • Proven in high-growth, complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Experienced in international billing and payroll.
  • Comfortable rolling sleeves up and taking ownership in a scale-up environment.
  • Confident enough to partner closely with senior leaders and keep financial discipline front and centre.

Package & Progression

  • Compensation is a mix of base salary, benefits, and an equity scheme.
  • Flexibility on working from home (ideally 3/2 split).
  • Location: London or Jersey.

Why Apply?

If you want a steady corporate FD role, this isn’t it.
If you want to shape the financial backbone of a disruptive firm scaling at pace, with meaningful equity upside, this is your opportunity.
