The Role

Our client is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant (newly qualified to mid-career) who’s eager to grow and make a meaningful impact. It’s a split role between advisory and accounts preparation, offering the opportunity to shape the future of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advisory-led work, including:
    • Strategic reviews, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Pricing strategies and financial planning.
    • Forensic accounting—analysing data to identify challenges and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Building trusted relationships with clients, offering tailored business & finance advice.
  • Accounts preparation on behalf of clients
  • Supporting wider business operations such as social media, business development, ESG initiatives, or tech advancements.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
    • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and data tools (e.g., Sift).
    • Ideally experience working in another local market accountancy practice or someone who’s worked with big 4 / in fund accounting and is looking for something exciting and new
    • Tax knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ideal Candidate:
    • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
    • Strong people skills, with the ability to work effectively with business owners
    • Low ego and a collaborative, team-focused attitude.
