This is a rare opportunity to join their Jersey office as an Execution Trader within a centralised digital execution function covering a broad range of cryptocurrency products.

The Opportunity

You will be part of a high-calibre execution team responsible for ensuring timely, intelligent trade execution across spot and derivatives markets. The role spans research, market monitoring, counterparty management and supporting strategy implementation – providing direct impact on performance across multiple trading teams.

You’ll operate in a set-up that values precision, speed, and continuous improvement, while remaining grounded in rigorous risk management and strong operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute cryptocurrency trades efficiently across spot and derivatives
• Read market structure and sentiment to dynamically adjust execution and positioning
• Research, build, and implement crypto execution strategies
• Monitor and distribute relevant market research to the digital execution group
• Provide daily feedback to the Execution Lead and other internal stakeholders
• Work closely with operations and front-office teams to ensure seamless trade lifecycle management
• Contribute to the risk management framework and ensure adherence to exchange rules and market structures
• Build and maintain relationships with exchanges, OTC counterparties, liquidity providers and other execution venues
• Identify market opportunities and escalate to the team where relevant

What we need

• Hands-on experience trading crypto (spot and derivatives)
• Strong interest in digital assets and understanding of operational intricacies
• Proactive mindset with strong relationship-building skills
• Experience with OMS systems and the trade lifecycle
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions with precision
• Bloomberg familiarity
• Experience using APIs for data and execution automation

Working Environment

• Jersey-based role within a global investment organisation that is in the early stages of establishing a stronger presence on the island
• Flexibility required, including occasional on-call coverage during evenings/weekends
