Are you at the point where you want more than just running a portfolio?

Do you want a role where you can genuinely influence the direction of a growing business, not just deliver within it?

And are you looking to join a firm where decisions are made quickly, without layers of bureaucracy, and where you have direct access to the people shaping the business?

Our client is building out its London presence as part of a broader growth strategy across its funds and corporate services offering. With an established platform, strong leadership and clear ambition, the business offers something increasingly rare in this market – a genuinely entrepreneurial environment, close access to decision-makers, and independence from private equity or banking-driven agendas.

The leadership team is hands-on and accessible, allowing for faster execution and real influence over direction, rather than navigating layers of corporate process. As a result, this is a business where senior hires can have immediate impact and play a visible role in shaping growth.

This is an opportunity to join at a point where there is real scope to shape the UK offering, contribute at board level, and directly influence growth.

The Role

This is a senior Director position sitting across both corporate and fund administration. You will:

  • Sit on the UK board and contribute to strategic direction and decision-making
  • Act as a director across a range of client structures, including institutional and alternative asset clients
  • Lead and develop key client relationships, operating as a trusted adviser
  • Work closely with senior leadership to drive growth in the UK business
  • Manage a team of bright professionals in the London office and make use of capabilities from Jersey
  • Play an active role in winning new work through your network and market presence
  • Support the ongoing development of the platform, ensuring it is well positioned for scalable growth

What Our Client Is Looking For

This role requires someone who can operate above delivery and bring a genuine commercial edge.

You will likely bring:

  • Director-level experience within a fund administration or corporate services environment
  • Strong board exposure, both internally and across client structures
  • A credible network across lawyers, intermediaries and fund managers in London
  • Demonstrable experience in winning or supporting new business
  • The ability to balance client delivery, commercial awareness and strategic input
  • Gravitas to operate with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally

Why Join Our Client?

  • A genuinely entrepreneurial firm with a strong platform and clear leadership, free from the layers of corporate bureaucracy typically seen in larger providers
  • Close proximity to decision-makers and principal owners, allowing for faster execution, real influence, and direct impact on strategy
  • Independent ownership, not driven by private equity or banking relationships, enabling a long-term, commercially sensible approach to growth
  • Genuine opportunity to shape the UK strategy and build out the London offering in a meaningful way
  • Exposure to both corporate and funds work, offering breadth and variety
  • A role that combines board-level responsibility with real commercial opportunity
  • Clear potential to build something significant within a growing London office

If you are looking for a role where you can step into a more influential position, leverage your network, and play a direct role in building a business, this is worth a conversation.
