Credit Lead – Real Estate Finance – Asset Manager

Our client is a well-capitalised investment platform with a sharp focus on bridging and development finance. The business has grown rapidly in recent years and is targeting further scale across funds, loan notes, and advisory mandates. With a proven origination network, they are now investing in their own credit expertise to underpin growth.
The Role
This is a senior position where you will lead credit oversight across the platform:

Review and challenge bridging & development loan proposals from origination partners

Produce concise, high-quality credit assessments for Investment Committee

Monitor loan performance, including site visits across the UK & Channel Islands

Partner with originators to identify risks early and resolve them pragmatically

Act as the in-house credit voice in discussions with external stakeholders

Shape the culture and framework of the credit function as the platform expands
The Profile

5+ years in real estate credit, bridging/development finance, or commercial lending
-
Deep understanding of risk structuring, loan documentation, and security packages

Experienced presenting to committees and influencing senior stakeholders

Commercially minded with the ability to balance risk and reward

Willingness to travel for UK/CI site visits (a few times per month)

Ideally Jersey-based, though UK candidates with flexibility will be considered
