As Country Head – Jersey & UK you will spearhead the Jersey and UK operations to ensure the business remains a leading player with clients, stakeholders, regulators and prospective talent. You will drive profitability, gross margins and support your finance team to ensure the best possible reporting. Build excellent working relationships with colleagues across Europe and Globally to ensure a continued high level of service execution and the best utilisation of technology platforms

Your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee country P&L, optimizing resource allocation to enhance client satisfaction and boost productivity.
  • Provide ongoing financial updates to the Senior Leadership Team and board, engaging key stakeholders to align on budget goals.
  • Lead top-tier cash management efforts in Jersey, collaborating with finance to meet all targets.
  • Drive change to build a culture of performance and collaboration, leading by example
  • Build and lead a local management team, delegating responsibilities from regulated boards.
  • Inspire the team to meet business goals while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate and manage local leadership in Jersey and London, working with department heads and service leaders.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive workplace that supports growth and innovation.
  • Ensure employees have the resources and training needed to succeed.
  • Encourage team commitment by recognizing achievements and providing constructive feedback.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential talent within your team.
  • Contribute to the strategy and success of the European Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate with senior management in Europe and Jersey to establish and implement the company’s vision, mission, and strategy.
  • Take responsibility for the company’s long-term success and serve as the main regulatory contact.
  • Represent the company at local events to engage stakeholders and attract talent.
  • Lead by example, maximising your sector’s contributions and developing your team across the company.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven leadership of a similar business to include P&L management and resource optimisation
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking,
  • Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of financial regulations.
  • Leadership in team development, with adaptability in dynamic environments.
