About the Firm
Our client is a globally active private equity firm with a long-term mindset and a progressive approach to operations and tax. The tax team plays a pivotal role in supporting business activity across 15+ jurisdictions, and this new position will evolve in line with the firm’s strategic integration and expansion.
The firm has a broad presence spanning New York, Singapore, and key financial centres across the UK and Channel Islands. The culture is professional but relaxed – think more akin to boutique investment firms than traditional corporate institutions.
The Role: What You’ll Do
You won’t be stuck doing tax returns all day. Instead, you’ll help coordinate tax compliance across the globe, working directly with top-tier advisors and administrators. Expect varied, high-impact work like:
- First-review of Jersey tax returns and liaison with administrators
- Coordinating international tax compliance for high value jurisdictions / operations
- Helping oversee corporate tax provision processes across 15+ jurisdictions
- Supporting CBCR and Pillar 2 data collection and verification
- Drafting and maintaining tax policies, procedures, and engagement documentation
- Partnering with finance, legal and external advisors to drive efficient, tech-enabled solutions
- Work with AI / Technology solutions to advance the team!
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to come from a Big 4 background – but you do need to be bright, organised, and motivated to make your mark.
Ideal candidates will:
- Be recently qualified with experience in corporate tax (Jersey or UK ideal)
- Have some exposure to international tax or a clear interest in the area
- Be confident managing external relationships and coordinating multi-jurisdictional work
- Be curious about tax technology and keen to explore AI-driven tools and processes (experience in this not needed!)
- Enjoy being in the office, working closely with senior stakeholders and the wider team
