Are you an Accounting / Financial Reporting Manager who wants to escape the rigid silos of larger firms and feel closer to the value they’re creating?

Ready to lead a growing team and still stay hands-on with the detail when it matters?

Want to work on a wide variety of interesting assets?

Our client is an exciting, independently owned Jersey HQd Corporate Services business working with real estate investors, corporates and funds. They’re known for technical strength, personal service, and a genuinely supportive culture. About the role

You’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality client accounting services across a range of structures, including Jersey Holdcos, SPVs, and private fund vehicles. Expect to work on complex transactions such as acquisitions, disposals and refinancing, alongside more routine reporting cycles. You’ll also help drive internal improvements, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in managing client relationships.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing and mentoring a team of accountants to deliver accurate, timely client reporting
  • Reviewing financial statements, management accounts, tax filings and audit packs
  • Leading the annual audit process for a range of client structures
  • Working directly with clients to agree deliverables and resolve issues
  • Ensuring compliance with constitutional and regulatory obligations
  • Supporting bespoke and complex investor reporting initiatives
  • Identifying ways to enhance internal processes, systems and outputs

What we’re looking for

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with sound technical knowledge (FRS 102 / IFRS)
  • Experience managing others, with a coaching and positive leadership style
  • Confident reviewing financial statements and leading client audits
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting software
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, growing business where initiative is valued

Whether you’re currently in-house or in a client-facing role, this is an ideal opportunity to grow into a senior leadership position while staying close to the technical detail.
