Our client, a leading private equity manager with a strong track record and ambitious plans for the future, is seeking a technically strong finance leader to join their Jersey office as Chief Financial Officer.
This is a pivotal opportunity to join an energetic and committed partnership as they prepare for their next fundraise, working directly with the Board and playing a central role in shaping the firm’s growth.
The Role
As CFO, you will:
- Report directly into the Board, taking ownership of all financial management and oversight across Jersey and other international entities.
- Lead and develop a lean multi-jurisdictional team, ensuring smooth coordination across finance, operations, and investor reporting.
- Oversee relationships with third-party administrators, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and strong service delivery. Very strong Private Equity technical knowledge required.
- Take responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, and financial reporting.
- Provide clear and reliable investor reporting, supporting the partnership in investor relations and fundraising activity.
- Play a key role in fund structuring, operational oversight, and governance across multiple entities.
The Candidate
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with:
- Significant post-qualification experience within Private Equity, ideally gained in-house but would consider excellent Directors from Third Party Administrators.
- Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, structuring, and fund operations.
- A proven ability to engage with legal and financial documentation at a high level.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with investors and boards.
Whilst we are looking ideally for in-house experience, we will also consider exceptional candidates currently operating at Director level within a private equity accounting environment, who have gained significant expo
