Are you a capable, academically accomplished individual who’s started your career in Funds/Trust/Admin and wondering if there’s something else out there?
Looking for a role with real exposure and variety from day one?
Do you want to work directly with senior leadership and get involved across multiple areas of a business?
Would you thrive in a fast-paced hedge fund environment where you’re trusted to get stuck in and learn quickly?
Our client is a technology-led hedge fund in Jersey, now looking to hire a Business Management Associate to work directly alongside the senior leadership team. This is a high-priority hire and offers a rare opportunity for someone at an early stage in their career to gain broad, hands-on exposure across the business.
This is not a siloed role. You’ll be working closely with senior stakeholders and third parties to support a wide range of activities spanning investor relations, reporting, governance and ad hoc strategic projects. It’s ideal for someone bright, energetic and commercially curious who wants to learn how a hedge fund operates from the inside.
What the role will involve
- Supporting the preparation of monthly reporting packs for counterparties and investors
- Assisting with investor communications and relationship management
- Coordinating business and investor travel, including logistics and planning
- Preparing presentation materials and pitch decks
- Supporting a range of family office-style projects and private investment activity
- Contributing to governance and compliance-related tasks
- Getting involved in ad hoc projects across the business as required
Who this role will suit
This role is designed for someone early in their career who is keen to learn, contribute and grow within a high-performing environment.
You’ll likely bring:
- A strong academic background and intellectual curiosity
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders
- A proactive, hands-on mindset and willingness to take ownership
- A genuine interest in financial markets and how investment businesses operate
- Energy, enthusiasm and a desire to build a long-term career in the industry
Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, ICSA or similar would be supported over time depending on your interests and value to the role.
Why this role:
This is a rare opportunity to join a hedge fund in a broad, high-exposure role, working directly with the COO and gaining insight across multiple areas of the business.
For the right individual, it offers a platform to shape your career in multiple directions; whether that’s investor relations, governance, operations or broader business management.
