Company

OFC Partners are delighted to be representing a unique, independently owned real estate debt provider who are looking to strengthen their team with a new resource. This well capitalised firm continues to grow from strength to strength and in turn are building their team on island with a new Administrator or Senior Administrator to join the team.

Role

Your varied role will see you cover all manner of responsibilities and, as with any small business, will evolve as the business and you grow but a non-exhaustive list of tasks is included below:

  • Heep the financial records in Excel for each loan on behalf of the Investment Manager.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to provide cash flow information and issue payment instructions for loan purchases.
  • Consult with the Corporate Service Provider (CSP) of each Loan to provide information on transactions, updates on the loan portfolio and to reconcile company records with their records each month.
  • Consult with sister companies to provide cash flow projections for loans
  • Secretary to the Investment Committee.

 

Tasks

  • Obtain approval from the relevant members of the Investment Committee for each loan sale/purchase after calculating the projected exposure to the borrower and checking the impact of the transaction on any relevant Investment Restrictions for the loan.
  • Issue an instruction for each payment to the relevant CSP and save a record of the payment instruction when it has second approval.
  • Provide the CSP with any relevant credit assessments and monitoring surveyor reports as background to loan purchases
  • Update the Excel records for every loan purchase or sale, any interest received, fees paid, changes in the co-funder interest rate on a loan, or change in UK Base rate which affects all floating rate loans.
  • Reconcile expected entries versus the actual bank statements when transactions settle
  • Consult with sister companies to ensure that they process purchases and sales
  • Manage the projected cash flows of each Loan to include expected repayments and purchases, and to minimize the value of surplus cash in each loan.
  • Consult with the Treasury team to manage the timing and amounts of receipts and payments.
  • Create the quarterly fact sheet for each loan in PowerPoint.
  • Create ad-hoc presentations and data requests for internal and external clients.
  • Work with a marketing company and web site provider to update loan information on the web site.
  • Prepare the papers for the monthly Investment Committee.
  • Co-ordinate the project plan for each new loan to ensure that tasks are completed on time.
  • Review draft documents for each new loan with the Managing Director.
  • Consult with sister company Credit Director to obtain monthly credit information and any updates.
  • Consult with the sister company Credit Manager over monitoring surveyor drawdown requests and to review documentation for each loan purchased or sold.
