The Role:

The role will be broad-reaching but in brief will see you working across key accounting, cosec, administration and strategic corporate governance areas as below:

  • Getting involved in the management accounting process for both the internal group where you would be supporting the Finance Executive in the preparation of monthly numbers and key financial metrics as well as for acquisition companies, co-ordinating with and reviewing output from the outsourced service provider.
  • Assist on all CoSec and corporate governance services provided to the internal group and to the acquisition companies.  This will include preparation for and attendance at board meetings, oversight of the corporate governance strategy, compliance with regulatory requirements/listing rules and other applicable legislation, website management and support during M&A processes.
  • Support with the running of the Jersey office and administrative/operational tasks (a high degree of IT literacy is expected)
  • Involvement in M&A activity being pursued by the acquisition companies, this will range from the management of insider lists, preparation of the FPPP, insurance, governance, board pack preparation and post-acquisition planning.
