Assistant Financial Controller

OFC Partners are delighted to be representing a well capitalised, award winning, multi-jurisdictional fiduciary business who’s Jersey presence is highly regarded across a variety of service lines. As a result of increasing business needs and a strong appetite for growth (both organically and through M&A), the organisation is looking to strengthen it’s Jersey Finance presence with a new Assistant Financial Controller, reporting directly into the Financial Controller.

You will work closely with a number of key stakeholders to assist with the analysis, interpretation and communication of all financial information and performance. You will be responsible for the production of regular management reporting on key financial indicators, performing analytical review on income and be heavily involved in the production of financial planning forecasts and budgets. In addition to the above, you will use your accountancy knowledge to assist in key regulatory reporting and financial reporting matters.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a business which is at a key stage in it’s development and add value through thought provoking analysis and reporting. You will have exposure to senior members of the organisation and be able to mentor & train junior staff.

You will be a qualified accountant (CA / ACCA / CIMA / ICAS / ICAEW etc). Their ideal candidate will be someone who qualified in audit before spending time in an internal finance function, however are also very much keen to hear from candidates with internal finance experience or those who come straight from audit.
