The group executive committee sit in Jersey, where decisions are made and employees are listened to! They are looking to hire the brand new position of Client Accounting Manager in their UHNW Private Client business.
We are looking for a methodical qualified accountant who will have the opportunity to look after a small team in critical financial analysis. Manual processes are done by a third party accounting provider and in-house book-keepers, your role will be to review and analyse the quality of this work on the majority of UHNW clients. Whilst being responsible for managing the output of the TPA and team, you will personally be responsible for producing the financial information for a small selection of the most important and prestigious clients… this will include the opportunity to liaise directly with the client, travel and have a real impact on their structures.
In addition to your core role; you will work proactively with the Finance Director on optimising their internal processes, be involved in ad hoc financial analysis and add real value to the business.
The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of accounting gained from audit, funds, corporate or Private Client trust accounting work. You will hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA or equivalent). You will have a proactive mindset and be keen to progress your career.
